Peerless Transparent Watercolors have been around since 1902.While they have quite a following, some people are just getting to know them! The sets come in a staple bound booklet and is very transportable. The watercolor pigment is actually on the page! In order to use it, "cut small pieces from the colored films. Place each of these in small saucers and add water sufficient to dissolve the color from the film. Remove the film clippings and dilute with more water if necessary."
Our sets come with 15 colors. Each color comes with a delightful description, including advice on proper subject matter.
Here's an example:
Geranium Pink
A very useful color for flower work, and one of the most brilliant of all reds. In figure pieces where a bright effect is wanted it is particularly valuable. In its diluted gradations it is a beautiful pink, producing carnation pink, rose pink, and apple blossom pink.
The narration in the booklet is written in a style that channels a quaint blend of Bob Ross and the early 1900's. It's very sweet and inspiring! The set even includes some light instruction on traditional watercoloring.
This watercolor paint set is perfect to capture your summer adventures. Come today and check them out!
Happy painting.
